APPLICATION, TRANSFER AND MEMBERSHIP FEES:
All new applicants are required to submit an Application Fee of $184.45 plus $9.22 GST for a total of $193.67. All transfers of membership categories are subject to a Transfer Fee of $103.68 plus $5.18 GST for a total of $108.86 except during annual renewal time from November 1st through December 31st of any calendar year. All categories of membership are subject to Membership Fees, which will include an AVMA Membership Fee and applicable GST, CVMA Membership Fee and applicable GST. -Temporary registration is available for a veterinarian who has passed the NAVLE (must provide results to
AVMA) and is working to receive their Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) from the National Examining Board
(NEB). Applicants are required to be under supervision of a Registered Active AVMA member. Membership
is provided in 3-month periods (repeatable for up to 2 years).

-May be granted to members of the Association or other persons who have made outstanding contributions
in the field of veterinary science. Petitions for memberships shall be signed by five members of the
Association and submitted to Council. Council grants membership upon unanimous approval of such a
petition.
