Certain students, graduates of a “recognized” veterinary
college or students enrolled in an accredited AHT program may be
engaged by a certified veterinary practice to perform ancillary
animal health care services in an instructional capacity.
AVMA Bylaws indicate that a Veterinary Student may be:

Their duties must be performed in accordance with Council
Guidelines.
